Empower is a plastic waste deposit system giving a value to plastic waste. With the App you can deliver plastic waste and get paid for it in digital EMP tokens which in return can be exchanged into local currency or donated for additional clean-ups. An EMP is always worth $1.
Through the App you can also file an application to become a Certified Collection Point and get the right to verify and register collected plastic waste and issue EMP tokens in return.
To be able to deliver plastic waste you need to find a Certified Collection Point (map feature is coming soon). Today you will need to be part of a pilot or live near one of the Certified Collection Points available. More information and features are coming soon.
